FAIRVIEW 1855
A SPACE TO COME TOGETHER
Preserving history. Embracing nature. Curating unforgettable experiences.

OUR ORIGIN STORY
How an estate dictated the vibe
Fairview 1855 is located in the tranquil town of Ridgeway, Ontario. With 35 acres of private, beautifully preserved land, this heritage Italianate Victorian farmhouse is more than just a building—it’s a backdrop for creativity, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences.
The estate was discovered in 2023, where founder Paige Clarke was casually looking at local listings. Fairview 1855 jumped off the page, a Victorian home was only something she had dreamed of. The property itself made an undeniable claim to its purpose; people needed to come here, and experience the indelible impression it leaves on all who visit.
â
After a year and a half of decorating, sourcing local antiques, wallpapering (yikes!), rummaging salvage yards, and working with local designer and contractor, Fairview was ready for her close-up.
â
To her credit, Fairview was immediately flooded with local interest, and even attracted US and Toronto crowds. Her first summer was booked solid with guests falling in love with her charms.
â
Our team would like to invite you to experience the same, for your wedding, special event, or just a blissful getaway for your nearest and dearest.

A LOVE STORY WORTH SHARING
From Fairview’s Caretaker, Paige Clarke
Fairview 1855 holds a love story all its own. Locals often share memories of riding their bikes past the property as children, admiring its beauty, and remembering the families who once called it home. Even today, cars slow along the road just to catch a glimpse, a quiet reminder of how meaningful this place is to the community. Seeing Fairview open its doors to weddings has been deeply heartwarming, allowing others to experience its charm and magic.
â
There is a presence here that invites you to slow down and fully take in the nature that surrounds it. Paige sees her role as both caretaker and host, opening this space for the community and for couples to celebrate their love. Whether walking the forest trails or sitting beside the pond, Fairview offers a sense of peace, healing, and quiet wonder that makes every moment feel truly special.
