Fairview 1855 holds a love story all its own. Locals often share memories of riding their bikes past the property as children, admiring its beauty, and remembering the families who once called it home. Even today, cars slow along the road just to catch a glimpse, a quiet reminder of how meaningful this place is to the community. Seeing Fairview open its doors to weddings has been deeply heartwarming, allowing others to experience its charm and magic.

Paige sees her role as both caretaker and host, opening this space for the community and for couples to celebrate their love. Whether walking the forest trails or sitting beside the pond, Fairview offers a sense of peace, healing, and quiet wonder that makes every moment feel truly special.
OUR ORIGIN STORY
Where a Wedding Venue Becomes Something More
Fairview 1855 is tucked into the tranquil town of Ridgeway, Ontario—set across 35 acres of private, beautifully preserved land. This Italianate Victorian estate is more than a historic home; it’s a place that invites people to slow down, settle in, and experience something lasting.

In 2023, founder Paige Clarke came across the property almost by chance while browsing local listings. But Fairview wasn’t something you simply find—it was something you felt. From the very first moment, there was a quiet certainty that this place was meant to be shared.

Not just seen, but experienced.

Over the next year and a half, Fairview was carefully brought back to life—layer by layer. Local antiques were sourced, walls were papered (the hard way), salvaged details were reimagined, and each room was thoughtfully restored in collaboration with local designers and craftsmen.
What emerged wasn’t just a renovation—it was a vision taking shape.
A place where people could gather differently.
Where time could stretch a little longer.
Where weddings could feel more like meaningful experiences than scheduled events.
